Scope:

The newest knowledge and progressive trends in the field of restoration of buildings will be presented in following sessions during the conference:

1. Flaws and failures affecting historical and contemporary buildings,
2. Advanced materials from the perspective of chemistry of construction materials and their intended use in building reconstruction,
3. Issues arising from the use of ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems) in protected historical buildings.

Representatives of WTA CZ, WTA International, and other notable experts will present their conference papers focused on respective themes during the conference.


The results of the competition for the best diploma work and doctoral thesis will be announced, followed by presentation of awarded works in the form of lectures as a part of the conference program.

Publication:

WTA CZ organizes already the 38th Conference of WTA CZ that will be held with international participation under the name „CRRB 18th - Conference on Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Buildings“ and that will present both scientific and practical knowledge of the building industry. Selected papers from the CRRB2016 recommended by the scientific committee will be further considered for the publication in Procedia Engineering (ISSN: 1877-7058). The journal is indexed in Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
The printed conference proceedings with the above papers will be published, or the scientific papers of the CRRB will be available via the publisher respective web portal.
